Sous le vent

This is one of the only songs Céline Dion sings in that I really, really like. It’s in French and she’s singing with Garou, who HAD to have had a lot of whisky to get that voice. The lyrics are pretty cool. Here’s the part I have in my head:

Et si tu crois que j`ai eu peur                                        And if you believe that I was scared

C`est faux                                                                        It’s not true

Je donne des vacances à mon cœur                              I’m giving my heart a vacation

Un peu de repos                                                              A little bit of rest

It just never sounds as good in English.
