You ARE a dog.

I was doing a Lyft shift, sitting in my car, minding my own business, when a dude walking by did the normal thing that the average person does when they want someone’s attention: he whistled at me. Of course, my response was, “I’m not a dog, dude,” to which he replied, “you ARE a dog.”

My questions are these: If I’m a dog in the ugly sense, why do you want my attention? And if I’m not a dog in the ugly sense, what the hell does that mean?

Another day in the community.
